Authors can self-publish quality print books and ebooks with a global book distribution. Carol's most recent book was published with IngramSpark, and she raves about their distribution. 

Lulu Publisher

Print and self-publish with Lulu's tools for distribution, ecommerce, and global fulfillment. Lulu has great customer service. 

 

Amazon, Kindle Direct Self-Publishing 

Self-publish eBooks and paperbacks for free with Kindle Direct Publishing, and reach millions of readers on Amazon. Carol has published ebook and print books with KDP. 

Hemingway Editor

Hemingway Editor, a FREE app, tightens up your writing. It highlights wordy sentences, adverbs, passive voice, and dull, complicated words. Carol loves this app and uses it all the time!

Canva -Graphic Design 

Canva, a graphic design site, offers free and paid options. Authors can create covers, journal pages, illustrations, photos, social media posts. It's user-friendly and makes everything beautiful! 

Pexels

Pexels is a site with FREE stock photos and videos. They're beautifully staged, usually the best pictures, and are all free! This is Carol and Lynn's  go to source for pictures. 

Unsplash

Another source of freely-usable images that can be used in commercial projects. All images are free to download.  

Lorem ipsum

Lorem ipsum is a site with free placeholder text. The text is used to create and preview print, ebook, or other media layouts. 

PDF Escape

PDF escape is a free, online PDF reader, editor, form filler, & form designer. Carol & Lynn use PDF escape to make fillable PDF's..
